Now with Camera Control and Action Button support

Two new ways to launch Artemis on iPhone.

Artemis now responds to two of iPhone’s hardware buttons. Press the Camera Control button or the Action Button and Artemis opens, ready to frame. No home screen tap, no swiping through pages of apps.

What shipped

  • Camera Control support. If your iPhone has a Camera Control button (the one on the right side of the device), assign Artemis to it in Settings and a press launches the app directly.

  • Action Button support. If your iPhone has an Action Button (the one on the left side of the device, above the volume controls), assign Artemis to it in Settings and a press launches the app directly.

Why it matters

A director’s viewfinder lives or dies by how fast it comes up. On a hot set, an idea about framing is gone in the time it takes to unlock a phone, find an app, and wait for it to load. Apple’s hardware buttons remove a step. Artemis is in your hand before the thought is finished.
